We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Point of Sale (POS) Administrator to ensure the seamless operation of our POS systems and support our team in delivering exceptional customer service. Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
Train and onboard staff on the effective use of POS systems, ensuring proficiency and adherence to best practices.

Monitor and enforce proper POS usage by employees, providing ongoing support and refresher training as needed.

Identify, trace, and correct user errors to maintain accurate transactions and records.

Detect and report system errors or glitches to IT support teams, ensuring timely resolution to minimize disruptions.

Perform daily balancing of stock and cash transactions using POS data to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.

Generate and analyze POS reports to track sales, inventory, and performance metrics, providing insights to management.

Collaborate with inventory teams to reconcile stock levels and address discrepancies promptly.

Assist in implementing POS system updates, new features, or integrations to enhance operational efficiency.

Maintain accurate documentation of POS processes, user guides, and error logs for accountability and reference.

Support other store operations or administrative tasks as needed to ensure smooth retail operations.

Qualifications and Experience

Requirements:
Proven ability to work under pressure and manage long working hours in a fast-paced retail environment.

Adaptability to take on additional tasks or roles as required, with a flexible approach to shifting priorities.

Strong computer literacy, with experience using POS systems, Microsoft Office, or similar software.

Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to handle figures and financial data accurately.

Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g., IT, Business Administration, Accounting, or related fields) are an added advantage but not mandatory.

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward identifying and resolving issues.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to train and support diverse teams effectively.

Previous experience in retail, POS administration, or stock management is a plus but not essential.
