PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Support the preparation of financial reports, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare financial statements, budgets, and forecasts in collaboration with operational teams.
Conduct cost analysis for mining contractor expenses and resource allocation.
Assist in auditing processes, ensuring alignment with Zimbabwean standards and ISO requirements.
Manage accounts receivable and payable, optimizing cash flow for mining activities.
Support tax compliance and filings, incorporating contractor-related deductions.
Analyse financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities in PGM operations.
Prepare reports for management on financial performance and variances.
Contribute to the implementation of financial controls and systems.

Qualifications and Experience

Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Degree in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum of three (3) years' experience in accounting roles, with a focus on mining or industrial sectors in Zimbabwe.
Professional certification such as ACCA or CIMA (in progress or completed).
Proficiency in advanced accounting software and Excel.
