A well-established transport company in Ruwa with a large fleet is looking for experienced, reliable and hardworking individuals to join our workshop team.
We currently have vacancies for the following positions:
1. TYRE FITTER
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
• Fit, remove, repair and maintain tyres on trucks, trailers and other fleet vehicles.
• Conduct regular tyre inspections and identify worn or damaged tyres.
• Conduct scrap tyre analysis.
• Perform tyre rotations, wheel balancing and pressure checks where required.
• Assist with tyre-related breakdowns and roadside call-outs when necessary.
• Maintain accurate tyre records and report defects promptly.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and according to company procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
Requirements:
• Previous experience as a tyre fitter, preferably working with heavy commercial vehicles.
• Knowledge of truck and trailer tyres.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical fitness and willingness to work flexible hours when required.
• A valid driver's licence will be an added advantage.
