Monitoring vehicle movements, ensuring compliance with regulations, and utilizing tracking systems to report on logistics operations.
• Utilize GPS systems to track vehicle locations and monitor driver performance in real-time.
• Monitor fuel utilisation and produce trip performance reports.
• Ensure strict adherence to company regulations and policies by drivers and take corrective action when necessary.
• Identify and respond to on-road exceptions, providing immediate remedial action to minimise disruptions.
• Coordinate and respond to emergency situations, liaising with drivers, operations personnel, and management as required.
• Develop and present comprehensive daily management reports, providing insights and recommendations to optimise fleet performance.
• Foster strong relationships with drivers, operations personnel, and management, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Diploma in Transport and Logistics Management or equivalent
• IT savvy.
• At least two years’ experience in vehicle tracking and reporting.
• Ability to work under pressure and outside normal working hours.
