World Vision International Zimbabwe is inviting tenders from reputable individuals/organizations
to submit bids to conduct consultancy for Strengthening Capacity for Ecosystem Service for
improved livelihood and Resilience among Smallholders in Zimbabwe project endline
study.
Study Objective
Assessment of project performance and achievement of results.
Assessment of project implementation and sustainability.
Assessment of project impact and contribution to change
Lessons learned and recommendations for future programming
Duties and Responsibilities
Consultant Deliverables
The consultant shall submit the following deliverables:
Inception Report, including the evaluation methodology, work plan, sampling strategy, and data
collection tools.
Draft End-of-Project Evaluation Report for review and validation by World Vision Zimbabwe
and key stakeholders.
Final End-of-Project Evaluation Report, incorporating stakeholder feedback, including an
executive summary, findings, conclusions, lessons learned, and recommendations.
PowerPoint Presentation summarising the key evaluation findings and recommendations for
dissemination to stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
Consultant selection criteria
Advanced degree (Master's level or above) in development studies, agriculture, environmental science,
social sciences, or a related field.
Extensive experience conducting End of Project Evaluation, mid-term, and end of project evaluations
for climate change, food security and gender, disability and social inclusion, projects in Zimbabwe or
Southern Africa.
Experience in Nature based Solutions(NbS), Ecosystem Based Adaptation (EbA) mechanisms and NRM
assessments preferred.
Strong experience in quantitative data collection and statistical analysis
Extensive qualitative methods experience, and/or experience in balancing mixed method
approaches when designing a methodology
Strong experience in training of enumerators and quality control
Excellent writing skills in English
Demonstrated skills in survey design
