Dalkeith Engineering is looking for a motivated Student on Attachment in Motor Mechanics to join our workshop team. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in vehicle servicing, diagnostics, and repairs under qualified mechanics.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Assist with general vehicle servicing: oil changes, brakes, suspension, engine checks
Support diagnostics and troubleshooting of mechanical faults
Help with vehicle maintenance, repairs, and part replacements
Maintain a clean, safe and organized workshop environment
Follow workshop safety procedures and tool care
Learn and apply proper use of workshop equipment
Qualifications and Experience
Currently studying Motor Mechanics / Automotive Engineering at a recognized college, polytechnic or university
Must have an attachment letter from your institution
Basic knowledge of tools and vehicle systems
Willing to learn, reliable, and able to work in a team
Physically fit and safety conscious
