The Standards Association of Zimbabwe invites applications from motivated and enthusiastic students who are seeking an exciting industrial attachment opportunity. The attachment is available in Chemical & Food Technology Division(Harare) and Finance & Administration Department – ICT. The purpose of the internship is to provide students with practical workplace exposure, enabling them to apply their academic knowledge in a professional environment while gaining hands-on experience, developing workplace skills, and contributing to assigned departmental projects and activities.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist with assigned tasks and projects under the guidance of supervisors.
• Apply theoretical knowledge to practical workplace situations.
• Adhere to organizational policies and maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Demonstrate professionalism and eagerness to learn through active participation.
• Provide regular progress updates or reports to the supervisor/mentor.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should be currently enrolled in a relevant degree programme at a recognized university, preferably in any of the following fields:
• Chemistry, Biological Sciences or Biochemistry for the Chemical & Food Technology Division.
• Computer Science or related fields for the ICT Section.
