SITE QUANTITY SURVEYOR (x3)

ABOUT THE POSITION
We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Site Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team. Reporting to the Senior Quantity Surveyor, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the commercial and cost management of construction projects, including measurements, valuations, cost reporting, subcontractor payments, variations, and contract administration.
Duties and Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Monitor and control project costs and prepare regular cost reports.
• Measure and value completed works and prepare payment applications and valuations.
• Manage variations, claims, and final accounts in accordance with contract requirements.
• Review subcontractor quotations and process subcontractor payments.
• Track project progress and maintain accurate commercial and project documentation.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and site personnel on commercial and contractual matters.
Qualifications and Experience
CANDIDATE PROFILE
We are looking for a motivated and commercially minded individual who meets the following requirements:
• A Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Construction Economics, or a related field.
• 2–5 years’ experience in Quantity Surveying within the construction industry.
• Good understanding of construction contracts, Bills of Quantities (BoQs), and measurement principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Quantity Surveying software such as Candy.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication, negotiation, reporting, and organisational skills.
• A valid driver’s licence will be an added advantage.

The position will be based at Total Property Solutions project sites in Zimbabwe, with travel and deployment to different project locations as required.
