Job Description

An exciting opportunity for a Senior Bank Teller has arisen within our Business Department in Harare. The successful incumbent shall be responsible for selling bank products, addressing customer complaints, preparing reports and offering financial literacy training

Duties and Responsibilities

1.1 REPORTING
• Prepares weekly and monthly reports as required.
• Prepares RBZ foreign currency report

1.2 CASH MANAGEMENT
• Perform cash reconciliations
• Cash collection
• Verifying financial transactions through tick backs
• Conduction work authorisations

1.3 CLIENT REALATINSHIP MANAGEMENT
• Maintain a regular contact with clients
• Updating clients on available and new products being offered.
• Addressing customer complaints and attending to customer queries

1.4 MARKETING BANK PRODUCTS
• Sells products as per set target
• explains bank products and services to customer
• identifying business opportunities

1.5 TRAININGS
• Training youths in financial literacy and business management as per set targets

1.6. SUPERVISING SUBORDINATES
• Facilitating accounts opening

Qualifications and Experience

Degree in Banking & Finance or related Business degree
Minimum of three years' experience as Senior Teller or Supervisor in a banking sector
Possession of a valid Driver's licence is a MUST
