Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and competent Section Head for the Plant and Engineering Stores Section. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, issuing and updating of inventory both physically and in the SAGE system. He/She should ensure compliance with the stores procedures and supports maintenance operations through efficient stock availability.

Duties and Responsibilities

 Receipt of all engineering inventory and verify quantities, specifications and quality
 Issuing of all engineering spares
 Plant and Engineering stores section monitoring and supervision
 Monitor and process receipts, transfers, issues and adjustments in the SAGE system
 Prepare daily and weekly reports on stock availability, movements and shortages

Qualifications and Experience

 5 O’Levels including Mathematics and English
 Artisan Fitter, Boilermaker or electrician certification with minimum of One year experience.
 Technical knowledge of engineering and plant spares
 At least 1 year stores or inventory control experience will be an added advantage
 Experience with SAGE
 Good communication and supervisory skills
