Ultra-Med Health Medical Aid Society is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated, and results-oriented Sales Officer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving membership growth, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding Ultra-Med's presence within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement sales strategies aimed at increasing membership growth and market penetration.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the corporate, SME, and individual markets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, employers, institutions, and other key stakeholders.
• Conduct product presentations, business meetings, and membership awareness campaigns to promote Ultra-Med products and services.
• Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation through to onboarding and retention of members.
• Monitor sales performance against targets and develop action plans to achieve set objectives.
• Coordinate marketing activations, exhibitions, wellness events, and outreach programmes within the assigned territory.
• Provide guidance and support to Sales Agents and assist in driving overall team performance where required.
• Gather market intelligence on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to support business development initiatives.
• Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and business development updates for management.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Requirements
• Degree or Diploma in Sales and Marketing, Business Management, Insurance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• At least 2 years' experience in sales, business development, account management, or a related role.
• Experience in the Medical Aid, Insurance, Financial Services, or Healthcare industry will be a distinct advantage.
• A valid Class 4 Driver's Licence will be an added advantage.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
• Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Strong networking and prospecting capabilities.
• Ability to analyse market trends and identify growth opportunities.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently.
• Strong planning, organizational, and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
