We are recruiting, on behalf of our client, a detail-oriented and highly organized Sales and Marketing Officer to join the growing sales and marketing team of their organization. This is an exciting opportunity to support daily operations and contribute to the success of the business.
Our client is a creative, wedding-focused business in Zimbabwe, renowned for its classy and exquisite wedding and events stationery, elegant dance floors, and custom invitation designs. The company also specializes in large-format printing for banners and welcome boards, making them a one-stop shop for memorable wedding and event solutions. With a strong reputation in the wedding industry, the company is expanding and seeking a dynamic Sales and Marketing Officer to grow its client base, drive revenue, and strengthen its market presence.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Sales and Marketing Officer will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, generating leads, converting enquiries into sales, and maintaining strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will be confident, persuasive, results-driven, and experienced in both sales and marketing in a client-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, implement, and monitor marketing campaigns to promote company products and services.
• Identify, generate, and manage new business leads through multiple channels.
• Present and promote company offerings professionally to clients.
• Convert enquiries into confirmed sales while following up on pending leads.
• Maintain an organized database of all marketing and sales interactions and outcomes.
• Provide timely client feedback, market insights, and competitor analysis to the business owner.
• Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to business growth.
• Coordinate with the creative team to ensure marketing materials reflect company standards and branding.
• Utilize online platforms and social media to engage clients and drive awareness.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 2 years’ proven experience in sales and marketing (event services, creative industries, or related field preferred).
• Degree/Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field .
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and persuasive skills.
• Proficiency in WhatsApp, social media, online communication, and basic sales/marketing reporting.
• Goal-driven, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines.
• Female candidates aged 25+ are encouraged to apply.
