Reporting directly to the District Engineer the incumbent will be responsible for the following:
• Supervise the operation of council road section.
• Maintenance of safekeeping of roads equipment and tools.
• Supervise construction of storm water drains.
• Schedule equipment and assign duties to staff to ensure completion of assigned tasks.
• Supervise the use of equipment and require the skill to operate equipment and machinery used in maintenance and construction.
• Perform other related work as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications and Experience
• Diploma in Civil Engineering with strong bias towards roads.
• Degree will be added advantage.
• Al least 2 years' experience in roads and storm drains.
• Be computer literate.
• A clean class 4 drivers' license is an added advantage.
• A Citizen of Zimbabwe.
• A clean criminal record.
• A clean record of service within the local government fraternity.
