Cresta Hotels, a leading hospitality group in Southern Africa, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates
to join our Cresta Hotels team in Harare for the position of Restaurant Supervisor.
Job purpose The position is responsible for overseeing restaurant activities in order to increase sales whilst maintaining the
comfort and safety of guests and staff in the restaurant.
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties
• Increase sales to inhouse and non-hotel resident guests
Coordinate all restaurant activities at the hotel
Manage restaurant costs in line with budget
Manage all restaurant inventory
Supervise and train all restaurant staff at the hotel.
Ensure adherence to Food and Beverage standard operating procedures.
Ensure maintenance of restaurant hygiene standards.
Ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Hiring requirements
• Diploma/HND in Tourism and Hospitality Management or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
Experience in Point of Sale (POS) terminals & inventory management software
