Position: Regional Manager- Central Region (Kwekwe based)

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Achieve growth and hit sales targets as set out from time to time.
• Implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence.
• Objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives.
• Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
• Present sales reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
• Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
• Responsible for the overall operations of the region.

Qualifications and Experience

Requirements and skills

• Must hold a commercial or technical degree.
• Masters’ degree is a plus
• At least 5 years’ experience as a Sales/ Marketing Manager, Branch manager or equivalent
• Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
• Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills.
• Experience in wire products and lifting equipment with both industrial and mining customer orientation.
• Working knowledge of Syspro or any other similar/ related software would be an added advantage.
• Clean Class 4 Drivers’ licence.
