RECOVERIES OFFICER
Two Strings Financial Services is looking for a highly driven, results-oriented and assertive Recoveries Officer to join our team.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and recover overdue and non-performing loans.
* Conduct aggressive but professional follow-ups with defaulting clients and guarantors.
* Negotiate and implement appropriate repayment arrangements in line with company policy.
* Identify, trace and follow up on pledged assets and collateral.
* Coordinate the repossession and recovery of pledged assets in accordance with applicable laws and company procedures.
* Liaise with lawyers, courts, law enforcement agencies and other relevant stakeholders.
* Prepare documentation required for litigation and debt recovery proceedings.
* Regularly report on portfolio quality, recoveries and outstanding cases.
* Recommend appropriate action on long-outstanding and high-risk accounts.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Requirements
* At least 2 years of experience in debt collection, loan recoveries, microfinance, banking or a related financial-services environment.
* Good understanding of litigation and debt recovery processes.
* Strong negotiation, communication and client-management skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet demanding recovery targets.
* Assertive, persistent, disciplined and results-driven.
* Ability to handle difficult clients professionally.
* Knowledge of loan documentation, guarantees and security instruments is an added advantage.
