As Project Manager, based at our Harare office, you'll be the glue that holds ILBP's day-to-day operations together. You'll work directly with our Co-Founder, our Data Lead, and our Tech Lead — collaborating in person day-to-day and remotely with team members, volunteers, and partners based elsewhere — to keep every workstream moving, every commitment tracked, and every KPI in view. This is a role for someone who takes ownership of outcomes, not just tasks — someone who protects the mission and the organisation as fiercely as they protect their own to-do list.
Duties and Responsibilities
WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Coordinate cross-functional work between our Data Lead (product-market-fit and community outreach) and our Tech Lead (development, support, and platform maintenance).
• Own our Kanban board(s) end-to-end, keeping work-in-progress visible and surfacing bottlenecks before they become problems.
• Managing developers, Trello/Jira, deadlines, QA, documentation and AI-assisted workflows
• Excellent with daily developer follow-up, written status reports, QA/bug tracking, deadlines, documentation, GitHub familiarity, and enough understanding of Flutter/software development to know when a developer is falling behind.
• Track KPIs across teams and report on progress, always pairing a flagged risk with a proposed solution.
• Take detailed meeting notes and turn them into clear, actionable follow-ups.
• Protect the Co-Founder's time — filtering requests, batching decisions, and escalating only what truly needs leadership's attention.
• Hold the line on our processes and standards, applied firmly and consistently.
• Delegate with real authority and follow through to ensure accountability.
• Speak up early when something isn't working, even when it's the harder conversation to have.
• Build genuine team cohesion across an in-office team and remote volunteers and partners.
• Negotiate effectively with partner organisations, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3+ years of work experience with Business Project Management
- 3+ years of Technology, Information and AI-assisted workflows experience
- 3+ years of experience in Project Management
