The Role
We are seeking a high-caliber Production Manager to oversee our specialized rotomoulding department. This is a position responsible for the end-to-end efficiency of the plant, from technical process mastery to the management of a multi-tiered production team. The successful candidate will ensure that our facility operates at peak efficiency, while maintaining safety and quality standards and
equally ensuring the longevity of our industrial assets.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership & Operational Oversight
• Lead, mentor, and hold accountable a team of Shift Supervisors and Production
Assistants to ensure consistent output across all shifts.
• Oversee training for new hires, focusing on safety protocols, equipment handling, and
quality standards.
• Implement and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for shift efficiency, waste
reduction, and overall product quality.
2. Quality & Process Excellence
• Ensure all finished products meet our strict standards by optimizing machine settings
and cooking cycles.
• Manage and enforce strict mould preparation and chemical application protocols to eliminate
surface blemishes and structural flaws.
• Maintain and update all production SOPs, ensuring the team adheres to precise material
loading and curing cycles.
3. Asset Management & Safety Compliance
• Oversee a rigorous 30-day maintenance schedule for all mechanical systems, including
high-temperature lubrication and gearbox servicing.
• Responsible for the integrity of the gas delivery system, ensuring regular connection
checks and strict adherence to pressure safety logs.
• Conduct regular inspections of machine frames, hydraulic systems, and lock pins to
prevent mechanical downtime.
• Act as the primary point of contact for equipment manufacturers regarding technical
anomalies or specialized repairs.
Qualifications and Experience
PERSON SPECIFICATION

Requirements: 3+ years in a manufacturing role, with experience in Rotomoulding or heavy industrial plastics.

Requirements: Proven track record of managing supervisors and large teams in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements: Strong understanding of polymer fusion, thermal processing, and industrial chemistry.

Requirements: Experience overseeing complex mechanical assets and pressurized gas systems.
