Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the following vacancies that have arisen within the Office of the Master of the High Court of Zimbabwe.
PROCUREMENT OFFICER
Department: Procurement Division
Duty Station: Harare
Reports To: Procurement Manager

Duties and Responsibilities
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinating and processing procurement activities in accordance with approved procurement policies, procedures and regulations.
Preparing procurement documentation, including requests for quotations, evaluation reports, purchase orders and related procurement records.
Obtaining, analysing and evaluating quotations and preparing comparative schedules for consideration and approval.
Assisting in the preparation, implementation and monitoring of annual procurement plans.
Liaising with suppliers and user departments on procurement-related matters.
Monitoring the progress of orders and deliveries to ensure timely provision of goods and services.
Conducting supplier research and maintaining an updated supplier database and procurement registers.
Assisting in the evaluation and selection of suppliers in accordance with applicable procurement requirements.
Monitoring supplier performance and escalating procurement-related issues where necessary.
Preparing procurement reports, correspondence and other management reports as required.
Ensuring that procurement activities are conducted transparently, competitively and in compliance with applicable policies, procedures and regulations.
Maintaining accurate and complete procurement records and ensuring proper filing of procurement documentation.
Providing guidance to user departments on procurement procedures and requirements.
Supporting the Procurement Manager in the effective coordination and administration of procurement activities.
Performing any other duties as assigned by the Procurement Manager.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications, Skills and Competencies
Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing and Supply Management or a related field from a recognised institution.
A minimum of five (5) years' relevant experience in procurement or supply chain management.
Professional qualification or membership of a recognised procurement and supply chain professional body will be an added advantage.
Sound knowledge of procurement policies, procedures, legislation and regulations.
Knowledge and understanding of public sector procurement processes and requirements.
Good analytical, negotiation, communication and organisational skills.
Computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to prepare and analyse procurement documentation, quotations and reports.
Ability to work accurately, meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
High levels of integrity, accountability, professionalism and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and effectively under pressure.
