Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the following vacancies that have arisen within the Office of the Master of the High Court of Zimbabwe.
PROCUREMENT ASSISTANT
Department: Procurement Division
Duty Station: Harare
Reports To: Procurement Manager
Number of Posts: 1
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Assisting in the preparation and processing of procurement documentation.
Obtaining quotations and assisting with the evaluation and comparison of quotations.
Maintaining procurement records, files and registers.
Assisting in the preparation and implementation of procurement plans.
Liaising with suppliers and user departments on procurement-related matters.
Monitoring orders and deliveries to ensure timely provision of goods and services.
Assisting in maintaining an updated supplier database.
Preparing routine procurement reports and correspondence.
Ensuring compliance with applicable procurement policies, procedures and regulations.
Assisting with general procurement administration and related activities.
Performing any other duties as assigned by the Procurement Officer or Procurement Manager.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications, Skills and Competencies
Higher National Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing and Supply Management or a related field from a recognised institution.
Knowledge of procurement policies, procedures, legislation and regulations.
Good communication, organisational and record-keeping skills.
Computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work accurately, meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
High levels of integrity, accountability and attention to detail.
