Reporting to: Logistics and Procurement Officer
Industry: Mining, Earthmoving & Heavy Construction
Role Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and self-driven Procurement Graduate Trainee
to join our Head Office team. Contract mining requires intense procurement flows to sustain
heavy machinery, manage high maintenance costs, and prevent costly operational downtime.
This accelerated development role will immerse you in the full Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle,
teaching you how to strategically source, negotiate, and expedite critical mining supplies
across our national footprint.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
• Sourcing & Vendor Management
• Tendering & RFQs
• Purchase Order Processing
• Logistics
• Market Intelligence or performance to aid in strategic procurement decisions.
Qualifications and Experience
Technical Skills & Qualifications:
• A recent Bachelor’s Degree (Upper Second Class or better) in Supply Chain
Management, Logistics, Procurement, Business Management, or a related discipline.
• Strong academic grounding in strategic sourcing, logistics, and contract negotiation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and an aptitude for
learning procurement software systems
