PRE-REGISTRATION PHARMACIST
HARARE, MUTARE, BULAWAYO
The following vacancies have arisen within First Mutual Pharmacies and applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill these vacancies.
The Job
Reporting to the Pharmacist, the successful candidates will be responsible for the following:
Duties and Responsibilities
* Receiving, verifying, and validating prescriptions daily.
* Reviewing prescriptions and discussing any queries with the prescriber where necessary.
* Facilitating the correct pricing of medicines and pharmacy products.
* Ensuring that medical aid electronic claims are submitted accurately and timeously.
* Ensuring the safe storage, handling, and management of medicines and inventory.
* Advising customers on suitable non-prescription medicines and providing basic patient counselling.
* Participating in service improvement initiatives and promoting best patient service practices.
* Capturing patient biometrics for medical aid prescription processing.
* Maintaining compliance with pharmacy regulations, policies, and professional standards.
* Coordinate finance related projects, for example reporting system change, integrations or updates.
Qualifications and Experience
The Person
The ideal candidate must possess the following:
* A Bachelor of Pharmacy Honours Degree.
* Eligibility for registration as a Pre-Registration Pharmacist with the relevant professional body.
* Professional integrity and ethical conduct.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
