PORTFOLIO LEAD – RETAIL PAYMENTS
The Opportunity
Zimswitch is seeking a commercially driven Portfolio Lead – Retail Payments to accelerate the growth, acceptance and usage of retail payment solutions, with a particular focus on merchant payments. The role will lead the development and execution of strategies to grow merchant acceptance, transaction volumes and revenue, while identifying new business, product and strategic partnership opportunities.
The successful candidate will develop and execute acceptance and usage plans aligned to market objectives, with a strong focus on converting acceptance into sustained transaction growth.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Drive acceptance, usage and transaction growth.
* Develop and execute portfolio growth and usage strategies.
* Identify new business, product and revenue opportunities.
* Build and manage strategic customer and ecosystem relationships.
* Support sales and business development initiatives.
* Analyse market and portfolio performance to identify growth opportunities.
* Lead initiatives that deliver agreed commercial and market targets.
Qualifications and Experience
Education & Experience
* Relevant Business Degree. A Masters Degree and relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage.
* Minimum 5 years’ payments experience in banking, financial services, fintech or a related environment.
* Proven and demonstrable track record in driving digital payments acceptance and usage.
