This position is intended for applicants with no previous formal training or work experience as a Nurse Aide.
Applicants must not be employed, self-employed, or enrolled in any other full-time or part-time employment, studies, or training programme at the time of appointment, as this is a full-time, intensive clinical training position requiring complete commitment, discipline, and professionalism.
Successful applicants must be able to secure suitable accommodation within walking distance of Domboshava MedClinic, as punctuality and availability for clinical duties are essential.
During the training programme, trainees will alternate between Domboshava MedClinic and the Employer's Harare facilities on a rotational basis to gain broader clinical exposure and experience.

Successful applicants will undergo a structured twelve (12) month in-house clinical training programme, designed to develop competence in patient care, infection prevention and control, maternity support, outpatient services, ward procedures, and other essential healthcare skills, irrespective of any previous experience or qualifications they may possess.
Bonding Requirement
Successful applicants will be required to sign a four (4) year Bonding Agreement before commencing training. The bond is intended to protect the Employer's investment in professional training, supervision, mentorship, and practical clinical experience.
Applicants must provide a suitable Guarantor, who will sign the Bonding Agreement as surety and submit a clear photocopy of their National Identity Card.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Assist the dentist or dental therapist
2. Assist the midwife and medical doctor
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must meet all of the following minimum requirements:
Female environment
Minimum age: 30 years
Minimum of 5 O-Level passes, including English
Holder of a Nurse Aide Certificate issued by the Red Cross, St John Ambulance, or another recognised training institution
Must be able to secure suitable accommodation within walking distance of Domboshava MedClinic
Must be comfortable working in a predominantly female clinical environment
Must provide their own scrubs and crocs before commencement of training
Must be willing to undergo a rigorous twelve (12) month orientation and in-house clinical training programme, including regular written assessments and practical competency evaluations
Must demonstrate maturity, professionalism, compassion, integrity, and a willingness to learn in a busy clinical environment
