VACANCY: MUNICIPAL POLICE CONSTABLES: GRADE 4 x15

Duties and Responsibilities
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Maintaining law and order, preserving peace, protecting life and property from malicious damage.
* Enforce Council by-laws and policies.
* Regulate access to Council premises entry and exit points.
* To ensure that Council property leaving the premises has the requisite authority by conducting searches on all persons and vehicles leaving the Council premises.
* Maintain an occurrence book and report to management on any irregularities within the premises.
* Perform other job-related duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications and Experience
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
* Minimum of 5 Ordinary Levels including English.
* Physically fit (ability to run 10km within 60 minutes for men, within 80 minutes for women).
* Height: Minimum of 1.65m - male (measured barefoot), 1.58m - women (measured barefoot).
* Weight: Not less than 55kg.
* Must be within the age group of 20–30 years.
* No criminal record and a Citizen of Zimbabwe.
