VACANCY: MINE SITE NURSE AIDE
Location: Doma, Mashonaland West
Employment type: Full time
We seek a dependable and compassionate Nurse Aide to assist the Mine Site Nurse in providing healthcare services to over 200 mine workers.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key responsibilities:
- Assist with basic patient care, comfort and safe movement under the nurse’s supervision.
- Take and record basic observations when trained and delegated, promptly reporting concerns to the nurse.
- Prepare treatment areas, equipment and supplies, and assist during emergencies within training.
- Maintain clinic cleanliness, infection prevention standards and safe healthcare waste handling.
- Assist with patient registration, confidential records, stock counts and replenishment of clinic supplies.
- Support worker health education and follow-up arrangements.
Qualifications and Experience
Requirements:
- Recognised Nurse Aide certificate with practical attachment or supervised patient care experience.
- Current first aid and CPR training.
- At least one year of relevant experience is preferred.
- Good communication and basic record keeping skills.
- Ability to follow instructions, maintain confidentiality and work effectively under supervision.
