Job Title: Marketing & Sales Executive / Officer
Reporting To: Executive Chairman
Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract
Duty Station: Harare (with outreach and field engagement)

Job Description
The Marketing & Sales Executive / Officer will be responsible for driving membership growth, promoting Buy Zimbabwe programmes and events, and generating revenue through subscriptions, sponsorships, and partnerships. The role requires a target-driven individual with strong marketing, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Market Buy Zimbabwe membership packages to potential members and retain existing members.
• Drive subscription renewals and new member onboarding.
• Promote Buy Zimbabwe events such as awards ceremonies, local content conferences, exhibitions, and business forums.
• Identify and pursue sponsorships, partnerships, and advertising opportunities.
• Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies aligned with organisational targets.
• Maintain a database of members, prospects, sponsors, and partners.
• Conduct outreach visits, presentations, and follow-ups with potential members and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the communications function to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
• Prepare sales reports, revenue projections, and performance updates.
• Perform any other marketing and sales duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications
• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Management, Commerce, or a related field.

Skills & Competencies
• Strong sales, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Target-driven and results-oriented mindset.
• Ability to market services, events, and membership value propositions.
• Basic digital marketing and customer relationship management skills.
• Strong organisational and reporting skills.

Experience
• At least 1–3 years’ experience in marketing, sales, business development, or membership-based organisations is an added advantage.
• Experience in selling services, memberships, or events will be a distinct advantage.
