MARKETING ASSISTANT
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Marketing Assistant within Baker’s Inn Sales & Distribution, Northern Region, Harare. The successful candidate will support marketing planning and execution, brand management, market research and stakeholder engagement to strengthen brand visibility and support business growth.
Duties and Responsibilities
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
* Support the planning, coordination and execution of marketing campaigns, promotions and events.
* Assist in brand management and marketing communications to ensure consistent brand representation.
* Conduct market research, monitor competitor activities and gather customer insights to support marketing decisions.
* Coordinate marketing materials and promotional activities across sales teams and relevant stakeholders.
* Build and maintain effective relationships with customers, agencies, internal teams and external partners.
* Monitor campaign performance, track budgets and prepare marketing reports.
* Support the coordination of multiple marketing projects, ensuring timely execution and delivery.
Qualifications and Experience
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
* Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related qualification.
* At least 1 year of relevant experience in marketing or a similar role.
* Good understanding of marketing principles, brand promotion, campaign execution and event management.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* Ability to conduct market research, analyse trends and interpret data to provide actionable insights.
* Excellent organisational, coordination and multitasking skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
