ROLE PROFILE
AFC Land & Development Bank, a subsidiary of AFC Holdings seeks to recruit a Management Accountant. Reporting to the Head of Finance & Administration, the successful candidate will be responsible for producing timely and accurate management accounts, conduct branch performance reviews, supporting strategic projects through robust financial appraisals, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting.

• Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts and performance reports.
• Conduct branch performance monitoring, including profitability and efficiency analysis.
& Perform financial analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Undertake project appraisals and investment evaluations. o Support budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Develop dashboards and analytical reports.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve financial processes and systems.
© Assist in compliance with applicable financial regulations and reporting requirements.
Checking journals and facilitating month-end processes o Maintain and update fixed asset register.
© Assist in preparation for annual audit

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications and Experience
• Degree in Accounting, Finance and or related field.
o Professional Qualification such as ACCA; CIMA; CIS or progress towards CA qualification are an added advantage.
• Minimum of (2) years' experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar analytical finance role.
• Advanced Excell skills with proven ability to develop complex models and reports. o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Power BI or other Al-driven business analytics tools (advantageous) o Proficiency in accounting standards and application in financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting systems and ability to leverage them for reporting and analysis.
• Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting and performance management.
