The logistics Officer will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing local and intercompany transport and logistics operations, ensuring efficient movement of materials and personnel in support of the company’s operational objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
Planning, coordinating and overseeing logistics and transport operations to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
Developing and maintaining schedules for the movement of materials and personnel in line with operational requirements.
Monitoring company vehicles including maintaining accurate vehicle records, inventories and daily inspections checks.
Monitoring approved work schedules and coordinating logistics teams to ensure effective utilization of resources.
Ensuring compliance with applicable transport, customs and logistics requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
5 O’ Levels including Mathematics and English.
Degree in Supply Chain Management or Transport & Logistics Management or related.
Minimum of five years' experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
Knowledge of customs clearing procedures and Automated System for Custom’s Data (ASYCUDA).
Valid Driver’s Licence.
Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of the team and manage multiple priorities.
