Description
The University seeks to engage a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor/Full Professor in the Faculty of Natural Resources Management and Agriculture, Department of Horticulture and Crop Production
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities
Participate in University income-generating projects
Participate in the invigilation of examinations
Supervise post-graduate and undergraduate student research projects
Participate in outreach activities in the crop production sector
Attract and manage research grants
Participate in university services
Innovate and facilitate service delivery
Applicants must be able to teach Horticulture related modules at undergraduate level and any other modules which may be assigned by the Department
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications and Experience
Five (5) Ordinary Level Passes including English Language
A Bachelor of Science (Hons) Degree in Horticulture or related fields
Applicants must be holders of at least a Master’s Degree in Horticulture
A PhD in Horticulture or related fields is an added advantage
At least one peer reviewed publication
At least Six (6) months University teaching experience
