The Harare Institute of Public Health (HIPH) invites applications from suitably qualified, experienced and highly motivated individuals for the position of Lecturer – Paramedics.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
• Teach Paramedic and Emergency Medical Care modules at National Certificate (NC) level.
• Prepare lesson plans, practical sessions, simulations and assessments.
• Facilitate classroom, laboratory and clinical instruction.
• Supervise students during practical training and clinical placements.
• Assess student competence and maintain academic records.
• Participate in curriculum development, moderation and quality assurance activities.
• Promote professional ethics, patient safety and evidence-based practice.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's in Paramedic Science, Emergency Medical Care, Emergency Medical Services, Nursing or a related Health Sciences field.
• A Master's in a relevant discipline will be an added advantage.
• A teaching qualification will be an added advantage.
• Registration with the relevant professional regulatory body and relevant industry experience will be an added advantage.

• Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and e-learning platforms.
