We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and technically inclined IT Graduate Trainee to join our Information Technology team. This opportunity is designed for recent graduates who are passionate about IT infrastructure, networking, systems administration, user support and hardware management.
The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience supporting the organization's IT operations, assisting users with technical issues, maintaining computer networks, configuring printers and scanners, managing systems and participating in technology improvement projects. This role offers an excellent platform for developing practical skills and building a professional career in Information Technology.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in the installation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of LANs, WANs and wireless networks.
Support the setup and troubleshooting of network devices including switches, routers, access points and firewalls.
Monitor network performance and report connectivity issues.
Assist in managing network security controls and user access permissions.
Assist in administering Windows and/or Linux server environments.
Microsoft 365 Administration
Monitor server health, storage utilization and system performance.
Assist with backup and disaster recovery procedures.
Support virtualization technologies and cloud-based services where applicable.
Provide first-line technical support to end users through phone, email, remote support and face-to-face interactions.
Install and configure desktop computers, laptops, mobile devices, software and peripherals.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot network and standalone printers and scanners.
Update asset registers and system inventories.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum requirements
A recent bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology/Systems, or related field (completed within the last 2 years).
Strong academic understanding of networking, operating systems and computer hardware.
Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment..
Strict age limit: 25 years or below. Proof of age is required
