The Zimbabwe School Examinations Council is responsible for assessing and certifying the acquisition of students’ knowledge and skills at primary and secondary school levels.
ZIMSEC is inviting suitably qualified, motivated and driven persons for the following vacant positions:
INTERNAL AUDIT STUDENT ON ATTACHMENT
The role offers hands-on experience in a dynamic, innovative and inclusive environment
Duties and Responsibilities
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist in identifying, monitoring and reporting risks within the organisation.
• Participate in systems audits.
• Track and review strategic action plans and timelines to ensure milestones are met.
• Monitor compliance with policies and procedures.
• Assist in assessing alignment between controls and organisational policies.
• Collaborate on the preparation of annual audit plans.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
Qualifications and Experience
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• The desired candidate must be studying towards a Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree in Audit and Risk Management or a related field at any local university.
• Application for Work-Related Learning placement letter from a local university.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
• Disciplined and punctual.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Computer and technical literacy skills.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
