Kumba Green Technology is seeking a commercially driven Inbound Sales & Conversion Specialist to convert incoming customer enquiries into completed laptop sales, financing applications and confirmed orders. Duties and Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead Response & Qualification
▪ Respond promptly to all incoming sales enquiries across WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, the website, referrals and partner campaigns.
▪ Contact high-intent prospects by telephone rather than relying only on messaging.
▪ Qualify customers based on device requirements, location, budget, intended use and preferred payment method.
▪ Identify whether the customer is interested in cash payment, lay-by or third-party financing.
▪ Prioritise hot and high-intent leads.

Sales Conversion
▪ Recommend suitable laptops based on the customer’s needs and available inventory.
▪ Clearly explain product specifications, pricing, warranty, payment and delivery terms.
▪ Guide customers through financing or lay-by application processes.
▪ Address concerns relating to affordability, refurbished devices, warranties and product suitability.
▪ Ask directly for the sale and agree clear next steps.
▪ Follow up consistently until the opportunity is closed, deferred or disqualified.

Lead Recovery
▪ Re-engage previous prospects who enquired but did not complete a purchase.
▪ Prioritise leads that requested pricing, financing, a specific model or immediate delivery.
▪ Record the reason for non-conversion.
▪ Identify recurring objections and report them to management.

Pipeline & Record Management
▪ Maintain accurate records of every lead and sales interaction.
▪ Record lead source, customer need, product recommended, price offered, payment method and outcome.
▪ Update the sales pipeline daily.
▪ Ensure every lead is classified as hot, warm, cold, closed or disqualified.
▪ Link completed sales to the correct campaign or lead source.

Customer Handover
▪ Confirm payment or financing approval before releasing an order.
▪ Provide complete customer and order information to the Operations Coordinator.
▪ Ensure the customer understands warranty, collection and delivery terms.
▪ Support a smooth handover from sales to fulfilment.

Reporting
Provide regular reports covering:
▪ New leads received — leads contacted — calls completed — qualified leads
▪ Quotes issued — financing applications started and completed
▪ Orders paid — sales closed — overall conversion rate
▪ Reasons for lost sales — customer objections — follow-up activity
