ICT Manager
Job Description
In line with the Corporation's strategic initiatives towards increased value addition and foreign currency generation, Minerals Marketing Corporation of Zimbabwe (MMCZ), is seeking for suitably qualified candidate to fill the following position:
ICT MANAGER: GRADE D3
Reporting to the DGM Finance & Administration, this position exists for the purpose of planning, developing and implementing the ICT strategy function including hardware, software and networking solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities
The incumbent will be responsible for: -
• Crafting, implementing and managing the organisation's ICT Strategy in line with the Corporation's Strategy.
• Managing ICT Policies and Procedures.
• Preparing, monitoring and controlling the ICT budget.
• Managing the acquisition, installation and maintenance of the organisation's Local Area Network, Wide Area Network, hardware, software and other ICT assets.
• Ensuring that routine preventative maintenance is carried out on hardware network and software.
• Ensuring systems are compliant with regulations and establishes risk mitigation measures.
• Any other relevant duties as assigned by the Superior.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Academic Qualifications and Experience
Degree in Information Systems/Computer Science or any other relevant degree.
A relevant Masters' degree is a must.
CCNA, Microsoft, Linux or Oracle certification, CISA or equivalent.
• Membership to a relevant professional body is a must.
• 3 years' managerial experience with at least 3 years' network and systems development and administration
• Knowledge of ERP Business Solution, Linux Operating System, ICT Project Management, ICT Management and Strategic Enterprise Management.
• A Clean Class 4 Driver's licence is a must.
