Position: Human Resources Officer
Position Summary
We are looking for a competent Human Resources Administrator with solid knowledge of Zimbabwean
labour laws and statutory compliance. The role supports compliant, ethical, and efficient HR operations
across both strategic and day-to-day functions.
Ensure compliance with the Labour Act, NSSA, NEC, and other statutory requirements, including
preparation of returns and support for HR audits.
Manage employee relations, disciplinary and grievance processes, while promoting employee
motivation, wellness, and a positive workplace culture.
Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and HR documentation (physical and digital).
Oversee onboarding, exits, attendance tracking, leave administration, and HR reporting.
Support payroll processing by verifying inputs and coordinating salaries, benefits, and statutory
submissions with Finance.
Assist with recruitment processes and implementation of HR policies aligned with labour laws.
Manage office administration, including supplies, asset control, internal communications, facilities
coordination, and general administrative support to management.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources
• 2 years’ HR experience with strong labor law and compliance exposure.
• IPMZ or other professional certifications are an added advantage.
Key Competencies
• Strong knowledge of Zimbabwean labour legislation and NEC regulations.
• High ethical standards, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
• Good communication, organizational, and administrative skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office.
