Position: Human Resources Officer
Position Summary
We are looking for a competent Human Resources Administrator with solid knowledge of Zimbabwean
labour laws and statutory compliance. The role supports compliant, ethical, and efficient HR operations
across both strategic and day-to-day functions.

Duties and Responsibilities

 Ensure compliance with the Labour Act, NSSA, NEC, and other statutory requirements, including
preparation of returns and support for HR audits.
 Manage employee relations, disciplinary and grievance processes, while promoting employee
motivation, wellness, and a positive workplace culture.
 Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and HR documentation (physical and digital).
 Oversee onboarding, exits, attendance tracking, leave administration, and HR reporting.
 Support payroll processing by verifying inputs and coordinating salaries, benefits, and statutory
submissions with Finance.
 Assist with recruitment processes and implementation of HR policies aligned with labour laws.
 Manage office administration, including supplies, asset control, internal communications, facilities
coordination, and general administrative support to management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources
• 2 years’ HR experience with strong labor law and compliance exposure.
• IPMZ or other professional certifications are an added advantage.
Key Competencies
• Strong knowledge of Zimbabwean labour legislation and NEC regulations.
• High ethical standards, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
• Good communication, organizational, and administrative skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office.
