A leading dynamic food processing and manufacturing organization dedicated to delivering high-quality products to our consumers is seeking a dynamic, results-driven, and hands-on Human Resources Officer to join our team. The successful candidate shall drive our people strategies and ensure operational excellence within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
The incumbent will, among other things, be responsible for: -
• Coordinating the recruitment, selection and onboarding process for your respective business units.
• Drafting employment contracts for new hires, promotions and transfers.
• Providing HR policy guidance and interpretation for employees.
• Maintaining in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
• Improving relations between staff and employer and evaluating staffing needs.
• Coordinating and facilitating employee and industrial relations related issues.
• Coordinating the performance management process for the respective business units stated above.
• Participating in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success.
• Maintaining an up-to-date inventory of all human resources records.
• Preparing timely human resources reports and other ad hoc reports.
• Reporting regularly on HR metrics.
• Ensuring timely processing of an error free payroll, payroll creditors and other relevant payroll reports and timely resolution of payroll related queries.
• Coordinating and attending to all employee wellness and welfare issues
• Performing other related duties assigned by Supervisor from time to time.
• A degree in Human Resources, Psychology or related from a recognized institution.
• At least 3 years Human Resources Management working experience in manufacturing set-up.
• IPMZ Diploma and a Payroll Management System qualification is a distinct advantage.
• Working knowledge of a payroll system and processes is a must.
• Excellent sound knowledge of relevant and applicable Human Capital Legislations.
