Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare job adverts and upload on applicable recruitment portal.
Conduct preliminary screening of candidates.
Shortlist candidates in liaison with line management.
Facilitate and conduct interviews with line management.
Conduct pre-employment checks for prospective candidates and filing of all relevant documents.
Participate in the monthly induction program in liaison with the Talent Management team.
Track staff on short and long-term fixed contracts and facilitate their timely renewal.
Follow up on the completion of end of probation assessments with line management.
Advise line managers on the correct handling and application of disciplinary matters.
Take disciplinary hearing minutes and facilitate appropriate record keeping and filing.
Assist in the administration of the Performance Management System including quality checking of contracting KPIs and submission of scorecards.
Provide administrative support in conducting relevant Human Capital surveys, Employee Engagement initiatives and various ad hoc activities.
Assist in the compilation of Human Capital metrics and generation of various reports.
Provide administrative support to Group Human Capital projects and ongoing assignments.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications, Skills and experience required.

Possess a degree in Human Resources Management, Human Capital Management, Psychology, Sociology, Social Sciences or equivalent from a recognized and reputable tertiary institution.
Have at least 2 years’ working experience in the field of Human Capital or Human Resources Management preferably in the financial services sector with hands on experience in recruitment and selection processes.
Should possess a professional certification or qualification such as Senior Certified Professional [SHRM-SCP]; Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development [CIPD] or Institute of People Management [IPMZ] diploma or similar.
Have sound understanding of Human Capital systems, policies and procedures.
Should possess strong understanding of disciplinary and grievance processes.
Possess strong analytical skills.
Have demonstrable ability to communicate at all levels.
Possess solid computer skills and appreciation of various digital working tools and platforms.
Willing to multi-task and work within stipulated timelines.
