VACANCY- HEADMASTER (RE-ADVERT)
A well-established Junior School in Harare is looking for an inspirational, strategic-
thinking, visionary, highly-qualified and experienced candidate with both ZIMSEC and
Cambridge experience to fill its vacant Headmaster’s post. The ideal candidate must
have a proven track record of educational leadership, a passion for academic excellence,
and the ability to foster a collaborative culture among staff, students, and parents.

Duties and Responsibilities

Roles:
➢ Oversee all school operations, curriculum delivery, staff management, student welfare,
and parent relations in line with both ZIMSEC and Cambridge Primary standards.
➢ Provide clear strategic direction and vision for the ongoing development of the school.
➢ Lead, motivate and develop a dedicated team of teaching and support staff.
➢ Ensure the delivery of a broad, structured and engaging curriculum.
➢ Foster strong partnerships with parents and the wider local community.
➢ Maintain a safe, inclusive and positive safeguarding environment for all students

Qualifications and Experience

Requirements:
➢ Bachelor’s Degree in Education; Master’s is an advantage.
➢ Minimum of 10 years leadership experience.
➢ Leadership experience in a Private School set up is highly preferred.
➢ Proven experience with Cambridge curriculum is also preferred.
➢ Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
➢ A commitment to upholding the core values and ethos of the school.
