Position: Graduate Trainee – Procurement
Employment Type: Fixed term contract
Phikwa Enterprises is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and eager-to-learn Graduate Trainee to join our Procurement Department. This programme offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience and develop professional skills in a dynamic work environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with sourcing goods and services in accordance with company procurement policies.
• Support the preparation of purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations.
• Maintain procurement records and supplier databases.
• Monitor deliveries and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely fulfillment.
• Assist in inventory monitoring and stock management.
• Support contract administration and supplier performance reviews.
• Perform other procurement-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications and Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Purchasing and Supply, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Recent graduate (within the last two years).
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to learn and work in a team environment.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail and professionalism.
