Applications are invited for the following positions that have arisen in the
University.
GRADUATE TRAINEE – LEGAL OFFICE (2 POSTS)

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities
 Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts, Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs), Service
Level Agreements (SLAs), and operational legal correspondence.
 Conduct legal research, monitor organizational compliance, and assist in preparing legal
opinions.
 Provide support in institutional governance, intellectual property protection, Labour
relations, student disciplinary matters, public procurement and real estate/works
transactions and other legal work which may arise.
 legal research, policy development, contract drafting, labour affairs, student discipline,
real estate, works compliance, and intellectual property management amongst other
legal portfolios

Qualifications and Experience

Requirements:
Applicants must possess at least a Bachelor of Science Honours degree of Laws (LL.B.)
from a recognized institution. A strong foundational knowledge of Labour Law, Contract
Law, Corporate Governance, Administrative Law, and Intellectual Property Law is a
distinctive advantage.
