Job Summary
Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the position of FITTER AND TURNER that has risen in our organization, in Harare (x2) and Chitungwiza (x1). The successful applicants will be reporting to the Factory Engineer.
Duties and Responsibilities
Specific Responsibilities
• Carrying out routine installations
• Carrying out preventative Maintenance
Compliance with all operational procedures
• Carrying out repairs on machinery
• Procurement of spares
• Up to date record-keeping
• Contractor Management compliance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal incumbent must possess have the following:
• Class One Journeyman in mechanical engineering
• National Certificate/National Diploma in mechanical engineering
• At least three years of working experience particularly in the FMCG industry
Skills and Attributes
• Knowledge of SAP is an added advantage.
• Results oriented and hands on.
• Good communication skills
• Hard worker, comfortable with working outside normal working hours
