Market and Seed Access Project (MASAP)

The MASAP aims to improve resilience in food security of smallholder households (especially women and youth) by increasing adoption and utilization of improved open and self-pollinated varieties of small grains (sorghum and millets) and legumes (cowpeas and groundnuts) through strengthening the seed and commodity value chains.
• Prepares payment vouchers and ensures all supporting documentation is attached
• Assist with the procurement of goods and services
• Preparation of Financial Reports for the Project
• Preparing bank reconciliations monthly
• Responsible for filing finance documents on SharePoint and storing hard copies safely
• Supports with travel logistics, workshops, and accommodation bookings
• Review and authentication of Intervention partner acquittals
• Updating the Intervention partners Budget control and expenditure tracker
• Support with onboarding of Intervention Partners and service providers on MASAP financial reporting templates
• Supports the MASAP team with minuting
• Managing the Project bank accounts and preparing monthly funds requests
• Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors for external audits, responding to audit queries and following up on the audit recommendations
• Perform other financial and administrative tasks as may be requested
• At least a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting/related field
• At least 4 years of proven work experience in Finance and Admin with a reputable organisation
• Computer literacy and professional skills using Microsoft Office applications and accounting software packages
