DRIVER – CIMAS MEDLABS HARARE

Job Summary

Cimas Health Group’s purpose is to inspire healthier communities. In pursuit of this purpose, Cimas MEDLABS is searching for a Driver to join the organization and provide timely delivery of parcels, documents, collection and delivery of patient specimen and test results between the Clinics, Hospitals, Clinician offices and the Laboratory in line with Cimas Standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

* Responding to clinicians and clinical institutions calls for sample collection with the emergency they deserve.
* Collecting specimen from Doctors Rooms, Hospitals and Clinics daily and handing these over to reception as soon as possible.
* Delivering phlebotomy consumables, specimen collection containers and laboratory stationery to Doctors’ rooms, Hospitals and Clinics in response to the needs.
* Delivering emergency patients results as soon as they come in.
* Completing all delivery forms as indicated for each delivery.
* Driving Cimas vehicles for staff official travel and business, or as requested by management.

Qualifications and Experience

Key Competencies

The ideal candidate should be able to work long and irregular hours including night shift, ability to work independently and handle variable workloads. Knowledgeable on Laboratory safety and courier of biological specimens.

Qualifications

* 5 Ordinary Level subjects.
* Clean Class 3 and 4 Driver’s Licenses.
* Defensive Driving Certificate.
* Minimum of 2 years driving and riding experience.
