Diploma Lecturer – Marketing
The Harare Institute of Public Health (HIPH) invites applications from suitably qualified, experienced and highly motivated individuals for the position of Diploma Lecturer – Marketing.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
• Teach Marketing modules at National Certificate (NC) and National Diploma (ND) levels.
• Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, teaching materials and assessments.
• Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials and practical sessions.
• Assess and evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Participate in curriculum development, moderation and quality assurance activities.
• Supervise student research projects and industrial attachment where applicable.
• Maintain accurate academic records and submit reports within prescribed timelines.
• Participate in institutional academic and administrative activities.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's in Marketing, Marketing Management, Business Management or a related field.
• A Master's in a relevant discipline will be an added advantage.
• A teaching qualification will be an added advantage.
• Relevant teaching or industry experience is desirable. General Requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and e-learning platforms.
