Digital Marketer

Job Description

Driveit Car Rental is seeking a results-driven Digital Marketer to build and manage the company's online presence, generate qualified leads, and support business development across digital channels. This role will be central to establishing Driveit's brand in the Harare market and driving measurable commercial outcomes through digital strategy.

Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
Digital Strategy, Graphic Designing & Content
-Designing media for digital space, video editing and photography
– Develop and execute a monthly digital marketing calendar across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google)
– Create compelling content — posts, reels, graphics, and copy — aligned to Driveit's brand voice and commercial goals
– Manage and grow Driveit's social media accounts and online reputation
– Produce email marketing campaigns targeting corporate clients, travel agents, and partner networks
Lead Generation & Paid Media
– Plan and manage paid digital advertising campaigns (Meta Ads, Google Ads) within approved budgets
– Optimize campaigns for reach, engagement, and lead conversion
– Track, analyse, and report on campaign performance using platform analytics and Google Analytics
– Support the sales team by generating and nurturing inbound leads through digital channels
CRM & Database Management
– Maintain and update the CRM with digital lead data and campaign responses
– Segment and manage the client database for targeted digital outreach
– Support contact reactivation campaigns targeting dormant accounts
Brand & Visual Communications
– Ensure consistency of brand identity across all digital touch points
– Design or brief creative assets for campaigns, promotions, and fleet showcases
– Coordinate website updates and ensure SEO best practices are maintained
Reporting & Analytics
– Provide weekly and monthly digital performance reports to the Business Development Coordinator
– Identify trends, opportunities, and risks from digital data and recommend action
– Benchmark Driveit's digital performance against competitors in the Harare vehicle hire market

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications & Experience
– Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, Multimedia Design, Graphic Design or a related field
– Minimum 2 years of hands-on digital marketing experience
– Proven experience managing social media accounts and paid advertising campaigns
– Proficiency in Meta Business Suite, Google Ads, and Google Analytics
– Experience with graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Express, or equivalent)
– Familiarity with CRM systems is an advantage
– Experience in the transport, hospitality, or travel sector is a plus
– Driver’s license is a must
