We seek to recruit an experienced and qualified Diamond Driller based at Freda Rebecca Gold Mine in Bindura.

We are looking for an experienced Diamond Driller to join our Exploration team. This position reports to the Drilling
Duties and Responsibilities
Roles & Responsibilities
• Ensures compliance to SHEQ policies and procedures in line with all relevant mining regulations.
• Carries out drilling activities including site preparation and demobilization tactics.
• Operates a hydraulic diamond drilling machine using the conventional coring method and use of wireline for underground drilling.
• Sets up, dismantles and relocates drilling equipment (rigging & de-rigging).
• Drills to specified parameters, i.e. angles (azimuth & dip) and expected depths with the ability to read layouts.
• Drills short to long drill holes (800m).
• Carries out down hole surveys as per Supervisor's instruction.
• Mentors and trains Drilling Assistants.
• Conducts daily equipment inspections.
• Performs any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience
About You
• 5 “O” Levels (Maths and English included)
• Certificate to operate a Drill Rig
• At least 5 years work experience as a diamond driller is a must
• 1-year underground drilling is an advantage
