The successful candidate will be responsible for product development, technical drawings, custom-made designs, and supporting efficient production processes.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Research and develop new furniture products and prepare accurate working drawings.
• Prepare and update Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Develop designs, jigs, and CNC coordinates to optimise production equipment and improve efficiency.
• Manage custom-made projects, including site visits, measurements, design, and detailing.
• Provide technical advice on raw materials and specifications to Production and Procurement.
• Undertake CNC programming and coordinate generation.
• Ensure designs meet required specifications, quality standards, and production timelines.
• Contribute towards the attainment of monthly production targets.
Qualifications and Experience
• Degree in Industrial Design or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in furniture design or a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in CAD/design software and technical drawing.
• Strong creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret measurements and develop practical, production-ready designs.
