The Job
Reporting to the Head of Dental Services, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Duties and Responsibilities
* Conducting dental consultations and diagnosing patients in terms of patient treatment protocols.
* Carrying out dental treatment as required by the patients in terms of patient treatment protocol.
* Preparing, discussing, and providing prescriptions for the medication of dental conditions.
* Referring patients to specialist care based on dental assessment.
* Monitoring staff adherence to dental operating procedures is always used.
* Maintaining patient confidentiality for all cases attended to and for all records in line with Doctor-Patient confidentiality.
* Requesting diagnostic tests from the consultation to laboratory partners.
* Educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices.
Qualifications and Experience
The Person
The ideal candidate must possess the following:
* Bachelor of Dental Surgery.
* Valid Open Practicing Certificate.
* Attention to detail.
* Active listening.
* High levels of integrity.
* Strict hygiene practices.
